The installation of a FlowX is anywhere from 3 to 5 hours and has to be done by a competent and trained engineer. It is installed by fixing the rail to the stair tread, no drilling walls is required. Power can be obtained to charge the batteries via an existing power point.
We recommend a yearly service of your Flow X to get the most from your stairlift and avoid any unwanted breakdowns. Regular maintenance allows for foreseeable issues to be addressed such as deteriorating battery life.
